Letter from GM for ignition lock cylinder
Maybe PM ChevyMgr with your vin.# and he could look it up.
Or just call a Chevy dealer service dept. and ask.

well this morning i get in my car and it wont start....things clicking...lights flashing.... Tried to jump it but it still does the same thing and wont give me my keys back, LOL. This after i got the ingnition cylinder replaced saturday
well....i now have a rental for 3 days......the new lock cylinder shorted out something and they have to order 6 different parts(i have no clue what it is but will find out when i go to pick it up). The dealer didnt even call me....i had to call them 3 times.....i cant stand Homestead Chevrolet, worst customer service around(i guess i shouldn't go on about the customer service....that would be a different thread)
I got the last 2 wheel covers installed by the dealer today. They had 2 in stock last week when I took it in for the ignition bulletin and to have the door bottoms fixed. I have to say Moran Chevrolet did a great job. The igniton works much better than the original, the doors look fanastic and believe it or not the new wheel covers don't rattle! The original covers made noise from day one but I figured that was just the way it is especially after others having the same problem. These are the cheap LS wheel covers, the part number is 9597197. I am not sure if they are a replacement for the originals but they are quiet. I am very happy.
