Light sensor replacement

The switch was set to AUTO. The scanner showed 5 volts present, and when I manually decreased the voltage (with scanner) like the photocell normally would in daylight, the dash brightened as it should. This shows me that the BCM is working OK and the sensor (photocell) is defective.

I finally took the dash apart as best I could, and found out that the light sensor wiring was never plugged in from the factory. It was coiled up just laying there, so I managed to get it connected and now the dash lights work as they should. I am making another rpost as to how I loosened up the top dash pad.
