Car lights & interior lights, rado all came on when I turned the key, but it wouldn't crank. Jumped it (left charging for 5 minutes) No luck. Ckd the fuses, all clean. I'm no mechanic, just cking off the obvious? Can anyone help

Wouldn't it be obvious to check the starter, alternator and battery?
5 minutes won't charge anything, if it started with a jump that tells us that either the battery is not supplying enough power or the starter is demanding more than the battery has.

Hi John, to the forums!!
Like donbrew said above, your charging and/or starting systems are suspect.
In addition to fuses, there are also relays in the underhood fusebox that are associated with these systems.
It may be helpful to list the year, miles, engine, trans, and trim level of your vehicle. It may also have something to do with clutch pedal position sensor or neutral safety in the automatic's shifter.
