The best and only real way to determine the exact length needed by your HHR is the jack it up, remove a front wheel, and measure the length of the sway bar end link. They do use different lengths, and they don't seem to be keyed by VIN, at least according to my parts guy.

Michelle;

I only was able to do an oil change this weekend (using the appropriate Mobil 1 oil and filter, of course). As I said, none of the minor things bother me. The actuators seem better (maybe it was just when I bought it if the car sat for a while and needed to be used). I was just mentioning them incase anyone else experienced the same thing. If the suspension starts to get worse I'll put it in the air again and look closer..but for now, if I forget about it, I don't notice it..that's how subtle it is.

Thank you for taking the time to respond. I completely understand your position on all this. Please, don't hesitate to contact me in the future.

yup....i have an 08 2LT and have ALOT of little problems.......Paint bubbles from factory...doors dont line up....door actuator on passenger rear doesnt lock.....sunroof windscreen snapped....bad rotors...popping radio and the 2 rear speakers went out....lock cylinder locks up.....exhaust cam solenoid.....and the most annoying is the "loose front end noises".I also have a bad stealership down here that has no customer service.....even the salesmen try to battle for me. But to be fair, i used to be a meter reader and used the HHR down dirt roads and through mud so i was a bit hard on it. But its never left me on the side of the road and the only way i'll trade this one in, is if i find a good used SS. Love my HHR!!

Haha nice to see GM customer service computers nosing in on the conversation! Seeing as that's all I ever got from them.... Other than the run around!

"I'm sorry you are having this problem. Have you taken your HHR to your dealer to have this issue diagnosed? If not, it sounds like something your dealer could figure out quickly. Please keep me updated on this situation, thank you."

Be nice Capone....
Evan was only on this forum for a very short time.
Michelle has been here a while and seems very willing to help our little community. Reading some of her posts, I doubt that she is a "computer".
She is just doing her job regardless of what some people might think. Myself, I'm glad she is here. Who knows. The day could come when I may need help with an issue.

I hope you have had a great week so far. I am happy to read you love your HHR. When are you going to be in the market for the SS? I am not a pushy sales person, but curious if you needed any help with it.
