Bingo! Don called it, another case of your dealer doing less than wonderful work there Kev, sorry I thought it was the transmission pigtail.

The next time you're at the dealer pull the service manager and general manager aside and let them know how much you "appreciate" their fine work.

Hmmm.. Loose wires under the hood seems kind of unsafe.. I kinda want to nip it down and tape it off..

You can use a zip tie to secure it up out of the way somewhere, and make sure you seal up the wires even though they are most likely unconnected at the other end too. Nothing under the hood it could really get tangled up in, I don't think its long enough to even get close to the belt, but it should still be secured just to keep it from flapping about.

Other than aesthetics, if they did cut the wires on the other end instead of splicing in, you should be totally safe.... Until you try to sell the car and somebody asks about loose bundles of wire.

And there should be a holder downer thingy holding onto the fuel rail.

don. I am keeping this car until it dies..

Mike, When I get the new air box bracket, I will zip tie it up somewhere if I don't track it down and snip it..
