low voltage
low voltage
Hello ,I'm new here but i have questions about my 2006 hhr?
I had to take the power box under the hood out to work on the car and now I'm having electrical problems.
First couldn't get power to ecm from the box, now I've got starter to turn over but it say's low engine voltage? I can't get it to start? What is up with this car?
So many things that it could be but trouble shooting isn't easy? Anyone out there know what I need to fix or replace? I've have been with this car from day one as it was my mothers car
from the dealer and now it's my car. I just need for it to run. My other car is a work truck that doesn't get gas mileage at all.

When you put the box back together there are all of those connections that need to click in, the bolts need to be tightened until you hear a couple of clicks, way past "I was afraid to strip them".
This happens weekly around here.

I seem to have no power to the OBD plug?? So I'm still having connection problems in the box.
Not sure why every thing is tight and all the other relays and fuses have power. But the ECM fuse doesn't have power??
Not sure why that is when the starter is working ? all the fuses are good I pulled and checked them.

"Tight" is not enough!!!!!!!!! The fuse for the cig lighter powers the OBD plug #29 under hood.
Remember all of those connections under the fuse box? All of them need to go "home". You need to hear a a few clicks.
