im coming home from work and i can hear alot of wind noise from the rear pass door thinking the windows down i roll it up nothing i get home look at the door 1 and a half inches between the front and rear door the door is sitting on the rocker and wont open think its bound up at the latch and instead of being even with the rocker its sitting about a half an inch in i wonder if the warranty covers the door falling off a one year old car

 

Most likely it does(how couldn't it?), sounds like the hinge came unbolted at the top, needless to say I'd park until Monday if you can.

Sure,warranty should cover it if only a year old. But............if it is some type of collison damage, then no. Look close and be sure that it wasn't some "hit and run" thing that happened while it was parked.
A door falling off a relatively new car.Sounds like a weird one if it's not from a collison.

 

not a scratch on it the only thing was my sister shut it hard getting out but no where near hard enough to do that

 

i parked in the garage because the rain is getting the carpet and seat wet going to take it to the dealer mon

 

WOW !!! That's a new one to me anyhow.

If you are careful, you might be able to put it in place to shut it, to safely get to the Dealership ?

Maybe, but hard to say with out seeing.

 

I guess stranger things have happened..... but I couldn't tell you what they are. That's like twilight zone material there.

 

we got the door on it never fell completely off i wasnt picking it up but i think the door latch held it on and it wont open and im not rockin the cradle here i will be holding the door inside while the wife drives it down

 

Sounds like a plan, please let us know what caused this, pretty wild fer sure..
