Ive been noticing the last few days that the car is having problems switching between a/c and heater mode.(cold and Hot}Today it quit completely and I only get cold air regardless of which position I put the temp controller.Blower works in all speeds and the floor and defroster switch works fine,In other words everything works except the temp control.Any help or ideas will be greatly appreciated.2008 HHr LT

 

Might be the control itself, or the blend valve is stuck in the cold position. Best bet is to take it in to the dealer or your mechanic and have it checked out. At least its supposed to get back into the 50's the next couple of days, but I feel for you, this has been a cold winter for Carolina.

 

Check the coolant level in the rad. and the bottle. low coolant will make the heat come and go. good place to start.
