Needing help

I have a 2007 2.4 hhr , bought the car new with 25 miles on it . The car has 190, 000 on it now . Never had any problems with the car until four weeks ago started throwing PCM codes and headlights started surging along with the dash gauges going crazy. Within the last week has stopped throwing codes but headlights still surging and yesterday morning the temp guage said the car was running hot and the fans where running even after the car was turned off , but the water wasn't boiling out and the hoses where just warm not hot. Can anyone help me and if i didn't post in right spot I'm sorry not very computer savvy . I love my car and dontd want to get rid of it.

X2 on the status of your battery.
Not sure what you mean by "PCM codes". If you have had a Check Engine Light (CEL) or other warning pop up on the dash, maybe that's what you mean ?
If it was a CEL, you'll need to have the codes pulled, then post them here and we can help. NO descriptions of the codes, just the actual number such as P0001,P0002 etc.
Most auto parts store can pull those codes for you.

Welcome to the site, have that battery load tested, and have them read those codes.

Our local Auto zone brain cleared all the codes on mistake . The one he could remember had to do with the Power Control PCM wiring . Don't know if this helps !! Battery is two weeks old .

Really doesn't help, check for codes again. Without codes, we'd be guessing, and you'd be throwing parts, and money, at it.

Do y'all have any idea why the car would be thinking it's running hot when it's not ?

Try a battery lobotomy, it might work, while the negative terminal is disconnected and inspect the fuse box, under the hood
