Thanks for the info. Got this from a friend of mine when my 97 Mountaineer suffered major frame rust through breakage. 214,000 miles and multiple intermittent electrical gremlins. Found several connectors with broken locking tabs or missing the seals. At some point someone broke the throttle body connector and just left it hanging. The fusible link was routed right up against an AC line and rubbed through the insulation. I have to guess it's been that way for a few years. I will either make a new link or install a cable as a replacement, I'll just make sure to route it away from other things.
