Question new battery makes it go crazy

It's my sons car yesterday replaced the alternator cause battery wouldn't hold charge and purchased new battery. New alt installed and installed new battery when positive connected the HORN REAR WINDOW WIPER and FRONT WINDOW FLUID come on and stay on? What kinda craziness is this car?

It may have been jumpstarted incorrectly. If so, the underhood fuse block may be damaged.

If the negative was connected first then the positive, not good, disconnect the negative cable at the battery, for a full 30 minutes to reset the computers. Check the wires at the alternator to ensure they are connected correctly.

Turns out just a bad battery from O'Reilly. The boy went while I was inside on here researching and exchanged the battery and put it in and no more horn craziness.

Ah, the old “ new battery but not fully charged or dead cell from the factory “ we’ve seen that a few times now, happy to see it’s resolved! Enjoy the drive!
