New Member - Service Manual Question

Hello,
New to the site and just bought a one owner 2008 HHR Panel 2LT a week ago. I always like factory service manuals for my vehicles and found a GM 2009 HHR service manual set (all three vols) on CList. Does anyone know if the 2009 GM factory HHR manuals will cover 99% of the stuff for my 2008 HHR? I don't know if there were a lot of mechanical/wiring changes or etc between 2008 and 2009 models?
Thanks in Advance!!

It will probably be more than sufficient - especially if the price is right.

Thanks Whopper, think I will jump on them! In the process of installing an OEM roof rack today for carrying a kayak and looking for a rear seat assembly/parts for my next project. All made possible by the great info on this site.

Hmmm. Not sure I'd want to put a kayak on top of a HHR using a OEM rack. The HHR roof sheet metal is not that sturdy.
My wife has a couple kayaks so I'm familiar with the weight of them and how they ride on the roof. She carries them on her Hyundai with a fancy rack attached to the factory OEM rack.
No rack on my SS but if it had one I wouldn't put the kayaks on it.

Welcome to the site! The 09 may have different rear rum brake setup and auto shifter, but mostly the same as the 08
