I got my HHR. 2010 with 55,000 miles. I love it. I noticed a oil leak 4 weeks after I got it. It looks like the front of the engine block side. Is this major or minor?

On the oil leak, it could just be a seeping leak from the valve cover, or oil spilled by the last person who changed the oil, worst case scenario is a leak between the upper and lower block castings.

If you got it from a dealer or a Carmax type of used car lot, take it back and have it checked out.

 

Sorry to read of your troubles. Without pics and or more detailed description we really cannot help to pinpoint it.

 

You should still have the 5 year or 100K Powertrain warranty...

 

Or simply an old oil filter cap gasket.
