NO REVERSE LIGHTS 2008 HHR Ls

looking for some help in finding some light when backing up... Manual trans car. they came one once periodically back in the winter but never again... any one else with similar exp?

do the manual hhr's have a trip sensor when you throw it in R? I'd think it's a fuse, but don't "" me

just ckd both fuse panels find no fuse for the back up lamps....wth?

Fuse box under the hood . FUSE # 46


That is listed in the '08 and '09 manuals as back up lamps. Funny thing is that in the 06 and 07 that fuse is listed as Park, neutral. !!

If the lights did come on once a blown fuse isn't the problem.Look at the backup light switch on the trans case just below the shift control assembly.Check the connector and the switch for a loose or corroded connection.

So there is a switch...def check that.
