No tail light, no radio button, no heater control light

Tail lights, marker lights, interior lights, license plate lamps etc. all share the same Brown wire feed.

You could try replacing the relay. They are cheap and readily available at auto parts stores.

Was somebody messing with anything before this behavior?

There is a vague connection in that the brown wire FMG points out goes to the BCM as a signal of some sort.

I just got the car from auction. It went thru inspection fine, just did it all of a sudden the other night. I did relace the relay with another I had. I dosn't click like the headlight relay does when you turn it on.

Thanks for the diagram, that helps. SOOOO sould I be looking for a break in the wire somewhere. No that wouldn't be the cause because they will work at first for about 5 sec, then go off.

So, a new relay to ensure it works or switch the relay with another to confirm it’s a good one.

Is there evidence of a trailer hitch? They might have spliced wires and done a bad job of undoing it.

Is that one of the relay that can be installed bassackward?
