no turning over moter

no turning over moter

I have a good one for everybody. my wife hit a deer and car is in body shop. when she hit deer it killed the moter now it wont turn over or even click.they say they think it could be a sensor or the computer not getting any power out of computer.i need some help. paying to get body work done but do not no what it could be

If you have remote start, then it is the lock out switch that is part of the hood latch.

Depends on how much damage there is something may have shorted and blown a fuse link.

Being that the run in with Bambi killed the engine, the damage may have taken out the fuse box and other vulnerable components.

Depending on the severity of the impact damage, everything forward of the firewall may be suspect and require checking.

Some photos would be great, especially ones showing any underhood damage.

You might also want to try another body shop, getting it to run again properly is part of their job even if they have to subcontract with a dealer's mechanical shop.
