The oil cap had become vented. Aka, becuz of the cold it cracked allowing too much air in the system. So that fix was a new oil filler neck, and cap.

OK so there were in fact two issues that cropped up, too bad the throttle body issue didn't coincide with the filler cap. Its a real pain when you have back to back failures, but fingers crossed, you're done for a good while.

Doesn't your dealership offer a free shuttle?

Cripes 1151, did the dealership have to go the Lower Outer Slobovia for the parts? It sounds like they never heard of a courtesy car or a loaner. Sorry that your day went down the tubes, that sucks.

I had the exact same thing happen twice to my 07 1LT, like I talked about in a prefious post. I kinda figured when you described your problem that, that might have been the issue.

Alright. Sitting here @ the dealership again, waiting for the loaner to come so I can go to work.

Also, I think my fuse for my rear cig plug popped. Where is the fuse panel at?

Two locations 1151, inside the cabin on the right side of the waterfall/center stack, and under hood under the cover just ahead of the left front strut mount.
