offset for rims 2006 LS
Hi guys, does anyone know what the offset is for the factory steel wheels is?I bought my HHR with a custom set of 18 inch wheels and tires but want to return to the factory type steel wheel of 16 inch. A friend has a set of 16 inch rims from a 04 Saturn but the offset is to far out and the tires contact the bottom of the struts. Any idea what wheels will fit or what the proper offset is?:

Did you try the Search function ? I did and came up with many threads on the subject. Here's one. https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/appe...set-comp-1971/
Fwiw. If the tires are hitting the bottom of the strut perch, it's usually because the tires are too tall. 26.3 inches is about the tallest tire you can run on the HHR.
(You'll have to do your own Search for a tire size calculator. I'm not doing all the work for you. )

I am working with reverse engineering an bad brains. The cheap wheel I got on EBay is 39, it says so on the box and I know wheel covers won't fit.
FWIW, they are 5 spoke and sold as "snow tire" wheels. I think they were $45 ea.
