Just wanted to bump this back to the top to see if the dealership took care of this issue properly by installing a new GoodWrench Engine. Or if you are in the midst of litigation with them.

I had a Cavalier that i sold to a friend with 150k on it and when she took it for a oil change they forgot to put oil in it. They added oil and said it was ok. A week later it froze up and they put a recycled engine in it. She drove this car for 30 miles with no oil...........It had the full factory gauge set and a oil warning light.......She was blonde and when i said what did the gauge say she said "Is that what that gauge is for ?" I dont like it after an oil change when there is no oil in the filter for a few seconds let alone 30 miles.
