It sounds like it's coming from the bottom of the engine, I guess one of the rod bearings decided to spin... It sounds just like this video:

I think I'll try pulling the oil pan today to take a look at the rods

That’s not your car ?
That video has way too much back ground noise to tell much. Heck , I can even hear and see the traffic in the background.
Get a video of your car.

I got a little ahead of myself and pulled the pan before getting a video, oops. The rods have no vertical play, just a tiny bit of horizontal which I think is fine. I'm guessing it's not a good idea to start the engine with no oil pan, so I'll try to get a video in a day or two once I get it back on

Okay, I got a video of the ticking here:
It kinda sounds like it's coming from the exhaust area

Try checking the exhaust manifold bolts. The torque spec is very low,(10 lbs. ft) and twice I've found mine to be loose.

When listening for sounds you should do more than just idle. Snap the throttle once and hold it at 3000 rpm for a moment or two.

I checked the exhaust manifold bolts and everything was tight. I got one more video of it accelerating. The noise only seems to appear on faster accelerations

One can only guess, but mine is chains. I’d pull the valve cover and look at the front guide.

Have you looked at the air box bracket?

I pulled it off in that second video, but it still made the noise. I took off the valve cover last night, and everything looks good with the exception of possibly one rocker arm for the cylinder 3 exhaust. It looks like the bearings are visible in the picture, is this normal for them?

. I'm going to try using a stethoscope today to narrow down where the noise is coming from.
