WoW, don't do it.

Old thread but I had to *****. Maybe save someone else there cash.
New to me '06 HHR, 50K on the dial.
Had I known I would have run from this car. With just the drivers side rear window down, the pressure is so great the moon roof literally moves up and down in it's seat. The whole car does shake, more then a vibration. I have no doubt that if I continued to drive the glass would have let loose. Maybe not shatter but, definitely become unseated. Now think about that pulling on your ear drums. I felt sick to my stomach as the inside of my head was sucked in and out. As for it being in the owners manual. What difference does that make? We know we screwed up in the design of your vehicle. Aren't you glad we told you after you bought it? No excuse for this.

I rented a Nissan versa Note once that did this. I just thought it was a crappy cheap vehicle. Been away from GM for 12 years not a happy home coming.

Please TheHound, no need to double post. Your other post has been deleted.

If you have come here to get some helpful information on your HHR, great - there is a LOT of good info and advice available here.

If you have only come to rant this might not be the place for you - this is an enthusiasts site, not a haters site - not that the HHRs don't have shortcomings, like any vehicle.

A lot of frustration and outrage, with my new car, in that post.
I can turn it down.

Yes, a great site I've learned much already. Sad to hear there is no fix

Not a secret. All you need to do is partially open one of the front windows. I found that the air pattern is annoying when the rear windows are open.

I thought it was in my Owner Manual somewhere, I can't find it now.
