I'll have to recheck the timing.
But last time the 53lbs was within a few seconds. Turned the key to on, heard fuel pump prime immediatley, walked to under the hood, was at 53psi

or should I go back to steel from RockAuto, I'd have to buy the whole kit.

I remember having a issue the fuel line rusting and leaking so what I did was got fuel injection hose and cutout the rusted part and cut to length and double hose clamp it and never had that problem for rest of owning it .. but that’s your choice but I never had worry about it again ..

Just a quick update. The hard starting is still there after an evening or work shift sit. On my wife's way home last night. CEL returned with P0172.
This weekend, I will post back Fuel Pressure readings and timelines.

I should clarify my previous response to this. There is no lag between key to On and fuel pump prime activation. It's fairly immediate. I will try and check the pressure after sitting, and how long the pressure holds for.

This is a programmed in response to many CEL situations... Don't start thinking it's a transmission problem. It very rarely is...

I never mentioned anything about a Transmission?
Nor do I think it has anything to do with a transmission....

Hard starting + p0172 makes me think hole in vapor recovery tube. Or the EVAP purge valve is stuck open. Hard starting might be the check valve has failed, or an air leak in the fuel tank.

It means that the ECM is correcting the A/F to make it rich. It does not mean it is running rich. Sort of the same thing, but different.

That means that there is unmetered air getting into the chamber. Most common is via the EVAP purge system. Unmeterd air would be getting in between the MAF and the #1 O2 sensor.

Ignore any transmission symptoms until the code is fixed.

I've replaced both front and rear EVAP valves. The lines seemed to be okay from what I had seen. I have not mentioned any Transmission syptoms at all.... I'm not sure what you guys are talking about.
