So you should have tested #1, then rotated the engine 1/2 revolution and tested the next cylinder according to the firing order. What firing order did you use?

If you followed that generic video, you may not have done it right.

First off, I thank you guys for your patience!

I did 1 3 4 2. From what I understand, the dummy check would be, out of the 2 cylinders that are up at the same time, the one NOT on the compression stroke will be blowing air out of the exhaust pipe, and the compression stroke cylinder will be the other one. If anyone happens to be in the Phoenix AZ area, that would be able to help me to make sure I'm doing the tests right, I'd appreciate it, I'm sure I'm screwing 'em up, one way or another. I'll even provide the beer and pizza!
