Did another "gm drive cycle" yesterday, prior to going to my usual inspetion station. Evap monitor test was still incomplete. Over 200 miles of drive cycle, and still not complete? It passed anyway. I looked for another "drive cycle" procedure, from other GM forums, and found this (attached) one, on a Cadillac forum.I'll try it out once or twice next week, in case my infrequent (not daily driving to work anymore) regular driving doesn't eventually do the trick. Inspection guy said lots of GM cars/trucks come in with only the evap incomplete. I guess it's another form of inducement for new car sales, like planned obsolescence.
