Yes, that is lined up correctly. I think I got a bum steering rack from NAPA, it would not be the first time that a new part from them failed. I bought an A/C compressor last year and it leaked through the case, and they would not warranty unless I brought back all the associated replaced parts (valve, dryer, etc in the kit). I gave the clerk my regards with my middle finger.

 

They get their kits from a different place from where they get the components; thus you have to return the entire kit. They are too lazy to open a kit and switch a part.

The manager may have done something for you.
