Problems with my remote
I bought an 06 chevy HHR about a year ago and two months into having it the remote stopped working, I have struggled to find a easy, inexpensive solution and thanks to you all I have. The post suggesting I use keylessfix.com and then disconnect the car battery for a half hour worked..........to my surprise it actually worked..............................SO THANK YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad to hear it.
I bought an 07 used from a dealer and it came with only one remote. It crapped out after three months, so I complained to the sales manager, and he gave half price on a new one.
I would say that with this car, its best to have more than one remote, since they are kinda weak.
