Question regarding control arms...

I had new control arms put on my '06 HHR... I just found out today that the passenger side is aluminum and the drivers side is steel... Is this a concern? Will this affect the fact that my T/C light comes on? Will this affect the drivability of my HHR?
It was recommended to place the same on the other side, and that it was recommended to replace the steel one with aluminum...

Any help?

Well one of each isn't good, the steel one is really meant for a Cobalt/G-5 and not an HHR, so I'd change that out A.S.A.P.

Not sure that it has anything to do with the T/C light, but there may be a connection, have your codes pulled and get back to us with what shows up.

If you had it done at a shop, take it back and tell them to do it properly. Both should be aluminum alloy. Only pay for the difference in part cost.
