A. the pic of a new part does not seem to have external threads
B. I don't know how the AC would function without it
C. Schraeder valve, no leak, internal threads
D. check relay #50 fuse #40 underhood, Is there power at the relay, is the relay being triggered, etc?
E. The fan might not run with no input from that component, not sure because it inputs to the ECM which controls the fan
F. depending on manufacture date there may be a diode in line in the jumper harness 15 cm from the ground point on the left front of the engine; Been known to malfunction.
Don don't know where you going with this ?
The broken part shown is the nipple that's part of the main hard line manifold that connects to the compressor.
If you look at the picture you can see a green stain. That to me means someone put a dye in the system to look for leaks at some point.
The new part shown will have internal threads that will screw onto the nipple that would have the Schrader valve in it. Let's see what the OP comes back with instead of chasing a ghost.
OK, on fifth look, I see that the entire nipple from the AC is still attached to the sensor. I can now see the butt end of the schraeder. The AC has no refrigerant in it, unless a new line and sensor was installed but not plugged in.
