My 2007 HHR model AS46 was made in Mexico 06/07 with 25K miles. Everything happened at once. The radio only plays through the driver's tweeter. No chimes or light notification.No seat belt warning tone. Both airbag lights are lit.The local dealre won't service my HHR becuase modules are available andthe must be changed to my VIN. I already tried a used radio and it says LOCKED. Please someboy point me in the right direction.

Put the original radio back in, and put new speakers in the doors. That should fix most of those problems. The airbag issue will require a different solution.

Did the airbag lights start before or after removing/installing the radio? If after you disturbed some wires.

 

What the heck is a AS46 ?
EDIT: Found it. It’s the code number for the LT model.

And FYI. All HHR’s were made in Mexico.
