Radio Problem
Radio Problem
Earlier this week by radiator took a hit from something from road and damaged to where it had to be replaced. The problem is car overheated and some how drained the battery? Battery had to be replaced and radio when out. Checked with dealer and they said radio gone and I need to replace?
Can anybody tell me if this has happen to them and is there a fuse gone out?
Reset button somewhere? The dealer tells me they don't know what caused it and to replace radio would cost approx. $500.00. Help.

as for the drained battery. when the car overheats even after the car is off im pretty sure the fan will stay on until the engine is cool. i think. as for your radio. buy aftermarket. u can get a nice head unit for 500bucks.
Radio Problem
The Squeeky wheel gets the grease.
I contacted the Manager of the local Chevy Dealership and discussed problem.
And don't you know he came up with a way to write this off as a GM problem. To make a long story short I paid a $50.00 co-pay and they installed a new radio.................
Something about customer service, either way I have a refurbished radio that looks brand new to me.
