Radio Problem

I've been having problems the radio in my 2006 HHR. I have the standard AM/FM single CD player. The sound keeps cutting out when I drive. It will be fine for a day or so, than the volume will get really low and high pitched. After a day or two the sound returns to normal. Than it will happen again. Any idea's would be helpful.

Thanks, John

disconnect the battery ground terminal in the spare tire well in the back for 30 minutes, reconnect and reset your radio presets, this has cleared this issue for a friends 06 LS with the similar issue

@dangirl, you can make a trip to a Chevrolet dealership to have them diagnose what’s going on with your head unit.
