I've owned my 2008 LS hhr for 2 years now and the rear view mirror and dome light hasn't worked at all. I've tried replacing the bulbs for the dome light but that didn't help. As for the mirror I'm at a loss for why it isn't working. Does anyone have any ideas as to why they aren't working? My knowledge of electronics is pretty minimal so I apologize if it's something super obvious.

 

Are they switched on? The dome has a multi position switch.
Is the wire to the mirror plugged in?
Is the dimmer wheel turned on?
Is the fuse on the BCM good? #27 on the BCM (fuse box on the passenger side of the console).
