my remote start stop working and my check engine light came on around that time,we check it for codes but they were not any........ then tried the remote and it work and the cel turn off,now the remote start works sometimes and sometimes not,does anyone know how i can fix it or what the probem might be......................will the cel turn on if the remote start does not work..........thanks

 

It's actually the other way around. The remote start is disabled by the CEL.
