Replacement Front Control Arms

I’ve gotten pretty good at replacing front lower control arms over the years. I replaced them twice on my son’s 2008 and today makes twice on my 2011. The rear bushings failed on us after approximately 2.5 years of service.

Today I used an old pair of Moog units from my son’s 2008. This time the rear bushings were replaced with the Moog Problem Solver parts. The Moog dog bone bushings and ball joints were still excellent. Hoping these last longer.

I attached some photos. The arms removed from my 2011 today were Mevotech parts from Rock Auto. The right bushing was worse than the left side, and the right ball joint was loose.

Good job! I’ve installed the Moog problem solver bushings for years! They are a great invention!
