seat belt won't release
The drivers side won't reelease and the other side won't latch

So does this mean you are posting this question from the inside of your HHR ? But seriously welcome to the site and hopefully you get out soon ..... Bad latch or just stuck, needs lube ! Maybe punch in "seat belt" into the search feature for other members with the same issue .....
