There has been issues with resistance in the connectors under the seats and in the pillars.

I had this issues and they replace them all.

My ight would stay off in the AM when it was cool and come on in the PM when it was warmer after a couple miles. Once they replaced the harness up to under the dash it was no longer an issue. It was also not difficult to replace either.

If the light comes back they will need to replace the rest of the harness.

The Seat belts seem to be an issue with the lights and not so much the air bags themselves.

Service Air Bag warning came on again this morning. Took it back to the dealer again this afternoon. Looks like driving the Silverado for a few days again.

zbear,

I'm sorry you are experiencing this issue. Hopefully it's a quick fix!

Picked up the panel last night. When they moved it to the service area, they had the warning on long enough to extract a fault code on the front bumper collision sensor. They replaced that sensor and sent it home. Hope this takes care of it. I wouldn't care for the air bag to go off when it shouldn't or to not go off when it is needed.
