I took my other vehicle to the dealer to get the anti-freeze changed but also took new radiator hoses. The car is 10 years old and they had never been replaced. The dealer charged $105 labor because they said the transverse engine makes them very hard to replace. Is that true?

 

That's about an hour labor from a dealer, they do have to remove the lower shields to get at the lower hose. At dealer rates, this is not too much.
