shaking front end when braking but not all the time
A couple of experiences with brake shake, (1) stabilizer links were bad or broken, and (2) the struts and strut bearings needed to be replaced. I have experienced brake fading under wet conditions to the point that the next rotors will be cross-drilled. My car has the Brembo brakes on the front. Just wanted to share.
We're you autocrossing or something, you've really got to be driving at 11/10ths to get into brake fade, and wet conditions wouldn't cause it, the rotors are hot enough to vaporize the moisture almost instantly.
Maybe hhrsskzoo5spd means something other than what most people mean by fade. Like "didn't stop as fast as I thought it would" not "seems to go faster the harder I push on the brake pedal" or "seems to stop doing anything at a certain point".
It's just been a long time since I heard anybody with a fade complaint. I am interested to hear more. (I think that sentence construction means "time for bed").
