No. Read the thread (post #5 and #11) the problem is the the lube on the interlock solenoid gets gummed up (especially in the cold).
This will eventually get worse. Mine started not getting out of park 3+ years ago, by sitting and clicking for sometimes almost 10 minutes, it eventually would go into gear. Blog a few years ago recommended taking off the console and using screwdriver on left side of shifter to knock the little black restricter loose to let it go into gear. Have been driving for 3 years with the screwdriver fix. Trying to sell car, not a great selling point, the screwdriver. Chevy dealer will install a new shift control solenoid for around $400, you cannot order this part from a chevy dealer and a repair shop that is not a chevy dealership cannot order this part. (Part #25864102) I had one on order, paid for by GMParts.com and the next day received an email "Unfortunately, the part you ordered is currently on national control by GM and we will be unable to fill this order. A full refund has been issued to your account". Spend a full hour and a half with GM executive office customer service. Sorry, there may be a recall in the future. Take it to the dealer....
You can disable the little black rocker pretty easily, but this it is wrong that this easy repair is not allowed. By the way, that little solenoid is almost $300. Go figure.

Evidently you missed the part in this thread about spritzing the solenoid shaft with WD 40. That has fixed mine.

I can't help wondering if this complaint is affected by the "extended" warranty" repair I just had completed by my dealer. A VIN to the dealer should yield an answer.

Yes, I just reread my letter this morning. Only if you cannot remove the key.
This one is the shifter solenoid that locks the shifter in park, the key is no problem. It seems to be related, but not the same.

Hear both clicks at brake pedal and the shifter. Started out not shifting every once and awhile but yesterday and today I can't get my 2011 out of park at all. Cannot afford to miss anymore work.

Dumb question. What is the solenoid shaft/where is it. I'm hoping this works for me.
