I have a 2007 HHR that pretty much as no options including the base stereo (two speaker?).

The passenger side door speaker is very quite, even with the volume up, although occassionaly it will work well (works fine then stops working). I am assuming this is a lose wire somewhere, any ideas where to look or how to fix it?

Are the in door speakers accessible without removing the door panels? Seems like one is a little bit loose... Only rattles on certain low frequencies...

Rattles at low freq.(or bass tones) usually is because of a tear in the woofer foam part of the speaker. Probably time for a replacement.

Or rattles from my hitch lock keys in the door pocket!!!!

Speakers do not have removable covers. Would have been nice though-my 2003 Impala has factory removable covers.
