Anyone else have this? It'll squeal on low and med, but when you turn it up to high it goes fast enough to be quiet. Any fixes? I hate dropping it off at the dealer, this is our only car.

 

Ours made a light ticking noise in low/med but you couldn't hear it at the higher levels. I had the dealer look at it when I was in for an oil change and they replaced the blower motor. They even had one in stock. Sorry, but it's gonna require a dealer visit.

 

I'm going to have to do it also......my blower motor makes the same noises...ahhh...the pitfalls of the GM parts bin...gotta expect it when you buy I guess..I do but still a pita when it happens

my hhr is at the dealer right now for that very same problem...last summer it was squealing real loud...took it to the dealership and they replaced the blower motor....a few days ago the blower stopped working ...the dealership looked up in the service bulletin and found out why...what it is...when it rains it is leaking in through a part of the windshield...it leaks under the dashboard and burns out the blower motor....i would suggest taking it to your dealership and having them look at the service bulletin...this is the second one in the last six months....i noticed after we would have a heavy downpour that the right passenger side would have water on the floor...you will want to have it checked out...have you noticed any water laying on the passenger side floor board?
