for a gms1 car with under 10k the clutch should not slip. period. if it is, then something is wrong....just as in the op's situation. if he is completely stock it shouldn't even matter what rpm he goes wot in, the clutch should hold it no matter what. on a stock tune with 95k miles i could go wot at 40mph in 5th going up a hill and my clutch won't slip. and in jonboyb's situation....why would gm make a stage kit if the stock clutch cant handle the power? and i meant if the weather is cold...not the car.....thanks for your sarcasm tho

If i am going 50mph and drop to 3rd it will slip, if i go to 4th same speed it slips, same in 5th. this is all after the car is up to temp. I always let the vehicle warm before any quick shifts or any aggressive driving. Low rpm's say 30mph in 3rd it will slip. 45 in 4th or 5th I don't even have to have full throttle for it to happen.

Holy **** guys.
The clutch on lnf's can slip if THE CLUTCH is cold. I'm not talking about the ambient temperature or the engine temperature. It doesn't mean the clutch is bad despite what you may believe.
Enjoy trying to get it replaced by GM.
