Trans problem again

Got an auto '08. I had the trans rebuilt at 35k now it needs it again at 85k for the same issue. My LT between the speeds of 30 to 40 mph starts surging and you can see the tach jump about 400 rpm when it happens. So she is back in for service.

Hopefully you are still covered by power train warranty.

i had a similar issue, when I went up hills it revved inbetween 2 and 3k, without selecting a gear. I recently changed the intake and exhaust solenoids and it seemed to fix the problem

The Ghost of Bucky is alive and well. Jumps from car to car it seems!

Mayhaps, the dealer should look at the TCM. Seems that it would not be the trans, but something that lives in the car (like Bucky, or a controller, or a solenoid).

But keep us posted, my new to me 2011 trans is not as tight as I'm used to on the old 2008.

Still waiting for them to decide what to do. I am over the 5 year mark for factory warranty but i have an extended warranty. I have the car back right now.
