Usually a stretched timing chain

Ditto!!

Low fuel pressure or air leak , cracked exhaust manifold, broken flex pipe, that hose you mentioned to the throttle body elbow.
A Dirty MAF sensor and a dirty throttle body.

Check for cracks on the air horn (#10 above).
Check all of your wiring to the VVT valves and sensors
I am not sure I know what you mean by "solenoids". The VVT solenoids are on the cam sprockets. The VVT solenoid control valves are under the air box in the heads. The VVT valve position sensors are on the block.
Check the chain by removing the cam cover and looking at it; if there is any slack between the sockets either the chain is bad or the tensioner is.

You didn’t answer my questions in #8 above. I have a couple more. When you previously replaced the solenoid valves, were they gunked up? Sludge? Shavings? What brand did you replace with?
The wrong O2 sensor can cause problems. Did you replace it by any chance?
what do you know about the history of the car? Any chance oil changes were neglected?
Any chance you’ve run a compression check on the car? Do you ever see the llow pressure light come on? Maybe flickering at idle?
The new fuel pump may clear up the P0171/P0172, which may have been due to low and erratic fuel pressure.
