Yes that is a loose timing chain



This was mine after just 20,000 miles , never buy a cheap EBay chain kit! Cloyes 9-4201 SX for timing chain and 9-4202 SX for balance shaft chain . Just chains and guides and install a front guide upper bolt replacement for the front guide.

Yep, that's loose. What's a good way to test for bent valves? Take the chain off, then perform a cylinder leak down test?
