i did a search but all i found was CLUNKING NOISE, my HHR is doing a different noise when i turn the steering to the left only, is a squeak kinda like those cars with power steering fluid low.... it does it at 2 points on the steering and its not in the cabin its more like under the hood, i¨d like to think that something needs to be lubricated, is there anything ???does anybody has this problem before??? thanks..

 

The only thing I can think of is interference with tires on the strut, cause would be control arm bushing. If you still have B-to-B go to the dealer, if not pay for an alinement. That kind of noise is hard ti diagnose on the internets.

 

i sprayed some lubricant underneath the car and all suspension components and the noise went away!!! we*ll see for how long......

 

Glad it got better, I might have wanted to find it first, still wondering what is amiss ??
