Time chain guide bolt plug
2006 HHR 2.2 Time chain guide bolt access plug on the engine stripped, (10 mm hex bolt), i have a broken left timing chain guide i need to replace but i am out of idea's to get that access plug off. Have tried to j/b weld the hex bolt to the plug, no luck, channel locks but really tight area no leverage, any help would be grateful,

Try a chisel and hammer to get it moving, then Replace the cover and upper bolt with one of these

Replacement part
Is this user still active? And are these replacement bolts still available? I tried to send an email to the one in the post but it got kicked back

Yes, Dorman now has the plug it’s available on line or at your local parts palace, ZZP sells it also.
the kit I mentioned above included ARP bolts for the tensioner arm and the lower of the front guide, nice package.
