Having my laptop sitting in the passenger seat sometimes interferes with the signal, there is a TSB about cell phones and laptops in the car.
They interfere more as the battery gets older and the signal gets weaker.
My RR used to go out every time I passed by USMC Quantico/FBI Academy/NSA, I assume some heavy duty RF going on there.
