Tire Pressure Sensor is Dead
Tire Pressure Sensor is Dead
Hello,
My tire pressure sensor is dead in my HHR 2010. I unfortunately have an after-market key that has an LED on the inside so it's probably not going to be able to do the resync function. What other steps or devices can I use to get my tire sensor to actually work again? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

In the owners manual, it is stipulated that to set the TPMS sensors you have to press the lock and unlock buttons on the remote fob, that may be a problem to use the device for the next step. Most tire shops have laptops to get your vehicle back in shape, call around see if that’s possible.
To clarify; The reason he asked is because fobs with the LED don't always do the TPMS thing.
There is no other way aside from a computer that I could find to activate, and I'm not sure about that.
If you still have the programming module you can just get another fob and use the module, they are good for about 5 fobs.

...and if ones sensor isn't working, the rest will soon follow About ten years the expected life of these things. If your 2010 has the originals, you did well.
