Cool transmision

Having trouble with my 08 panel truck HHR..getting a hard shift. took it to aamco and they did a diagnostic test and claims it is the shift selonoid and they want 800 dollars to fix this problem...anybody have any input on this matter to save me the 800 bucks? What about a flush out do you think that can work?
HELP!!!

Here's what the book says on a P0752 trouble code....

Possible causes

- Low transmission fluid level
- Dirty transmission fluid
- Faulty 1-2 Shift Solenoid valve
- 1-2 Shift Solenoid valve harness or connectors
- 1-2 Shift Solenoid valve circuit is open or shorted

How many miles are on your HHR, has the transmission ever been serviced, and how long ago if it was serviced?

Before committing the money, take it to another shop for a second opinion.

hey nortonneon,

i have a similar problem but aamco could not find anything wrong with my transmission, does yours "bog" down or go into limp mode, meaning loss of power or almost stalling?

thanks
